Volunteer Ushers Needed For Functional Screening (28 Sep, Monday)
Filos will be conducting a Functional Screening for seniors in the community. The screening helps identify early signs of decline in vision, hearing and oral health, so that seniors who require further support can be referred for follow-up care and gain access to affordable assistive devices, such as spectacles, hearing aids and dentures.
For the first time, Filos will also be combining the functional screening with mental health screening and fall-risk assessment. This allows us to take a more holistic approach to supporting seniors’ wellbeing, independence and ability to age well within the community.
Join us in supporting a smooth and welcoming Functional Screening event for members of the community!
As a volunteer usher, you will guide participants between the different screening stations, ensuring that no one loses their way or leaves before completing the screening process.
